Meet Isaac! Isaac is described as an active, curious, joyful and quiet child. He loves to play and enjoys coloring, playing with sand, going for walks, going on rides in the car, playing with balloons, building blocks and painting. He is the happiest when playing, eating and having one-on-one time with his caregiver. He gives the best cuddles! He is a good sleeper and finds comfort in his blanket, and also has a blue teddy bear he is attached to! He shares a room with three other children, and is in an English-speaking home. His favorite food is chicken, yogurt, dried fruit and juice.
Isaac just completed preschool for the year 2025 and enjoyed art and music. He is also learning to count! He shows growth in his motor skills at school, too, and shows great enthusiasm and interest in learning. His teacher said he is helpful and loves to participate in activities. He plays well with other children and has close friends at school.
Isaac is walking normally and can jump, but has low tone. He is capable though and goes to a trampoline park weekly to jump and exercise his core muscles. He attends therapy at school and the reports are always positive from interacting with the therapists.
Isaac’s ideal family will need to be patient and understanding and have access to pediatric physical and speech therapy, if needed. They will also need to identify excellent medical and educational resources to help him reach his full potential.
