Hi, I'm Seavly
I'm a girl, 5 years old and live in Cambodia.
Seavly was enrolled in the community preschool by her parents. Her age was right for schooling and her parents believed that going to school could help her prepare well for grade 1. Seavly lives with her parents, a grandmother, and a younger brother. Her parents work in the factory in another province and earn low monthly incomes. They usually visit home during the holiday. Her grandmother stays at home to take care of grandchildren, and she also grows rice. Her brother is 3 years old, and he is in kindergarten. This family has sufficient food to eat and is better financially, but their children lack proper education because the public school is far from home. That is why they would like Seavly to study at a community preschool nearby, which Holt-International supports.
