Hi, I'm Temuujin
I'm a boy, 16 years old and live in Mongolia.
The informal school focuses on lifelong, equal education for school dropouts who were either abandoned during their studies or rejected by conventional society to pursue an alternative lifestyle. The project aims to provide students with hot meals and school supplies. Offering regular lunch time will boost interest in class and improve learning ability, leading to full attendance. Due to migration and lack of proper documents, Temuujin dropped out of school. Temuujin now attends an informal school, eager to catch up on missed lessons. After a five-day course of medicine for his sore throat, he has recovered. He and his mother, living with his uncle in a large five-member family, have no permanent residence. His mother works part-time when possible.
