You are so fortunate to have had the opportunity to reunite with your birth mother and family (our adopted son Sam does not have this option available to him). You have showed an amazing amount of courage and kindness. We hope that you do great things in life! From our small family of three, oddly all three of us having been adopted, we wish you the best! Seeing your t-shirt in pic, we also hope that Rose Bowl Parade is back in action this year and that you might be able to go (we live in Pasadena, and my wife is a life-long band geek)!
