We adopted 2 thru Holt, China in 1995 and India in 1999. We had delays with both of these adoptions. It was so hard to wait and trust in God’s timing. However, when we got to our kids He made it so clear why we had needed to wait. There were important reasons in both situations. It’s so awesome to see God at work!
They are now 28 and 24 and amazing people.

My heart goes out to this family going through this arduous process during the pandemic. I feel very blessed to have adopted my 2 children from S. Korea back in 1997 and 1998. The process was very streamlined and we had both of of children arrive in the US within 5 months of being matched. We were not required to go to S. Korea back then and chose to have both of our children escorted from S. Korea to LAX where we received them. I feel for the adoptive parents who are having to go through extra hoops during the pandemic. But, I can honestly say, it is well worth the effort to have these beautiful children become apart of your family. Mine are now 24 and 23.
